The Risk Control Center performs applied research and provides technical service and program development in the areas of safety, health, and environmental risk control. Service include field projects performed at industrial locations; applied research projects for government and industry performed on or off campus; seminars on industrial risk control, industrial hygiene, and risk control management for professional development; user adapted on-site training sessions in all area of risk control; faculty consultation on risk control issues including safety management, ergonomics, industrial hygiene (ventilation, sampling, and analysis), fleet and traffic safety; and workplace testing (noise, air contaminants, ventilation).
