Want to enjoy fresh, convenient food and get a discount at the same time? You've got it! University Dining has two flexible dining plans for faculty and staff that make eating on campus easy and enjoyable. Read below to learn about the BlockPlan and Flexline account options. 

BlockPlan meals are purchased in blocks of 100, 50, or 25 meals which can be used at the Fireside Café, Blue Devil Market, Harvey Express, and Jarvis Express retail locations also offer daily BlockPlan specials.

Can I use my BlockPlan for guests?

BlockPlan meals can be used to pay for others as long as the owner of the BlockPlan is present with their Stout BlueCard for payment. You can use any number of meals in a day. 

What happens to unused blocks at the end of the semester?

BlockPlan meals will carry forward from Fall semester to Spring semester. BlockPlan meals are forfeited at the completion of the Spring semester, so use them up! Our BlockPlan Choices chart above can help you determine the plan right for you. 

Where can I use my BlockPlan?

Your BlockPlan can be used at the Fireside Café, Blue Devil Market, and express locations.These locations offer daily BlockPlan meal specials. 

 

Flexline Accounts are predeposited funds allowing faculty and staff to purchase food, services or school supplies using their Stout BlueCard. 

 

Flexline Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start a Flexline account?

At the time your photo was taken for your Stout BlueCard, a Flexline debit account with a zero balance was created. To activate your Flexline account make a deposit of $10 or more. Deposits may be made by cash, check, debit/credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover) or applied to your University Student Fee Account. Flexline Account funds carry forward continually. Accounts with no activity over a 12-month period will be closed. 

Can I make a cash withdrawal from my Flexline account?

No. These funds are intended to be used on-campus and are not available for withdrawal while a faculty/staff member is employed.

What happens to the remaining balance on my card?

If you are no longer employed at UW-Stout, cardholders can no longer deposit into the account, only expend the remaining funds. All funds remain active in the card holder's account until there has been no activity for a 6-month period. After six months, any remaining funds are subject to a monthly service fee. Cardholders may also request to close the account. Status with the university will be confirmed prior to processing the account closure request and issuing a refund. Refund requests must be made by completing the Account Closure Form online or submitting a completed Account Closure Form to the Campus Card Office. Any remaining fee, will be processed according to the card holder's current preference selection.
