What is Project Lead The Way?

Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is an inspiring, nation-wide program that aims to increase the quantity and quality of engineering and engineering technology graduates. PLTW does this by:

  • Introducing students to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
  • Highlighting the practical applications of those disciplines
  • Providing opportunities to earn university credit in high school.

By taking PLTW courses in high school, you'll not only receive university credit, but also be prepared for a variety of engineering and technical programs at UW-Stout. As Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, we are a perfect fit for PLTW students.
