The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator (formerly known as LVEC) is a leadership position within PreK-12 schools. Persons pursuing certification as a CTE Coordinator work collaboratively with other PreK-12 school administrators, teachers, and the community to ensure quality CTE programs that prepare students for further education and careers.

There are two options for pursuing this administrator licensure endorsement through UW-Stout for those with a Tier II, III or IV Wisconsin educator license:

  1. CTE Coordinator Concentration in the Master of Science, Career and Technical Education degree program, or
  2. Post-baccalaureate CTE Coordinator certificate program

Note: Both CTE Coordinator options are designed to meet the requirements for licensure in the State of Wisconsin. If you reside outside of Wisconsin, please note that UW-Stout cannot confirm whether the program (or course) meets requirements for professional licensure in your state. Students from other states will need to contact their state regarding licensure requirements. See the following website for additional information.
