You Said…We Did event May 3

You Said...We Did event held in January 2020
April 12, 2021

I would like to encourage you to attend the You Said…We Did meeting, which will be held virtually on from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 3. Due to the size and scope of the event, the meeting will be offered via Zoom and you may access the meeting via this link.

During this important event, I will share my approach to strategic planning, including the importance of being agile, responsive, and continuing to seek input, especially during these challenging times. Following that, we will share the final FOCUS2030 goals and performance indicators, along with a proposed update to our mission, vision, and values. I am also excited to share the first version of UW-Stout’s core competencies, which are defined as our areas of greatest expertise that are central to fulfilling our mission and provide us with an advantage in our market.

A critical part of this event is to thank you for all that you have done to ensure the success of our strategic planning process. This FOCUS2030 strategic plan is the result of significant hard work by our university community. I continue to be impressed with all your feedback at the Visioning Session, Engagement Session, Town Hall meetings, and provided directly to the Strategic Planning Group. Your insights, ideas, and questions were instrumental in crafting this plan and will continue to be essential during strategy implementation.

As has been our tradition, you can also expect to hear directly from various faculty and staff at the event who have helped us create this plan. Community building, valuing people, and an interactive environment will continue to be central components of You Said...We Did.

I look forward to seeing you there!
