My name is Mandy Stasiek (she/her). My primary role at UW-Stout is as Advisor/Financial Literacy Coach in TRIO Student Support Services (SSS), where I advise a caseload of students and create workshops and promote financial literacy to our students. My undergraduate degree is in Comparative Religious Studies. It was fascinating to study world religions and gain a clearer understanding of how to expand my thinking and abstract reasoning skills especially how they relate to people around the world. I earned my Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration.
My favorite thing about working at UW-Stout is helping students write their own life story and holistically meet their greatest aspirations as they navigate unexpected life obstacles. I enjoy being a cheerleader, advocate, and mentor to students looking to advance their education, personal, and career goals, however they define them.
