Many businesses partner with UW-Stout’s Career Services Cooperative Education and Internship Program to provide co-ops and internships for students. These opportunities give students industry experience and provide connections for businesses interested in hiring quality future employees, like Blue Devil students and grads.
Starting a partnership is easy, too. Criteria for co-op and internship experiences are outlined on the Career Services website.
Check it out to learn more about the benefits of a Co-op or Internship experience, the outcomes of the program, as well as past employer partners. On average, CEIP works with more than 600 companies annually and enrolls more than 1,000 students.
You only need to hire a UW-Stout student for a qualifying position, notify Career Services and evaluate them in the middle and at the end of their experience. The student needs to be taking the appropriate course for academic credit and handle the other parts of the experience, specific to their academic program.
If you’d like to learn more about resources to support your student in finding an internship, check out the CEIP family information resources. For additional information, contact Career Services. We’re here to help connect your student with our partnering employers.
