Policies and procedures:

The customer is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting of equipment.

The customer is responsible for the equipment’s condition upon return and will pay all repairs, loss, cleaning and late fees assessed up on return and / or found during the inspection period. Each renter will be given the opportunity to personally examine the equipment to assure proper function and condition.

Cleaning and late fees will be charged at double the daily rate for each piece of equipment.

Equipment not returned during regular open hours will be charged an improper return fee of $10.

Full payment in person must accompany all reservations.

All Equipment Rental Reservation require full payment at the time the reservation is made.

Refund Policy: Stout Adventures does not issue refunds in the event of patron cancellations.

Stove, lanterns and headlamps are not supplied with batteries or fuel; you must provide your own.

Packages include all necessary equipment for the activity/sport. (e.g. canoe package includes canoe, 2 paddles, 2 personal flotation devices, tie-down straps.)

Technology is only rentable for a maximum of 7 days.

The weekend rate applies to any equipment rented from Friday through Monday during normal business hours.

A University ID is required for students, and a drivers license is required of all community members.
