If you or a friend are in a crisis situation and experiencing any of the following, please contact one of the many trained staff across campus.

  • Unable to stop crying
  • Thoughts of hurting yourself or others
  • Inability to communicate clearly (disjointed thoughts, garbled or slurred speech)
  • Loss of contact with reality (beliefs or actions at odds with reality; seeing or hearing things that others do not)
  • Have not eaten in several days (not due to illness)
  • Have not slept in several days (not due to illness)
  • Unable to go to classes (not due to illness)

Support During Office Hours

Emergency appointments or consultations can be made at the Counseling Center or Student Health Services between 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Support After Office Hours

Campus residents should contact their Resident Advisor (RA) or Hall Manager who can assist with coordinating emergency personnel, if needed
