Small Town Charm. Big Personality.

With a mighty, local-minded population of more than 16,000, Menomonie, WI is one of the best hometowns in the U.S. Take a walk along beautiful Lake Menomin, in the heart of the city; attend summertime concerts and ice cream socials in one of our many parks; or take in a local sporting event, street festival, or any of the other many traditions that Menomonie is proud to offer.

Thriving Downtown

Take a stroll down Main Street and swing into dozens of local boutiques, restaurants, salons, and retailers. Designated as a national Downtown Historic District, this ten-block stretch boasts countless activities throughout the year. The restored Victorian-era Mabel Tainter Theater offers live seasonal plays, while the beautiful Red Cedar River and miles of bike trails wind their way through the city. Whether you're looking to relocate or just to visit for the day, Menomonie has something for everyone to enjoy.

Industry and Services

Menomonie continues to grow and develop new business opportunities with a strong base of national industry partners including 3M, Ford Motor Company, ConAgra Foods, WalMart Distribution, Andersen Windows, Phillips Plastics Corporation, and other leaders in industry and manufacturing. We are privileged to have the state-of-the-art Mayo Clinic Health System – Red Cedar hospital and clinic, a beautiful library overlooking the shores of Lake Menomin, and an excellent K-12 public school system.
